{"id":9084,"date":"2022-02-22T14:41:30","date_gmt":"2022-02-22T13:41:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.myagileprivacy.com\/plugin-options-cookie-shield\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T14:10:41","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T13:10:41","slug":"plugin-options-cookie-shield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myagileprivacy.com\/en\/plugin-options-cookie-shield\/","title":{"rendered":"Plugin Options - Cookie Shield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cookie Shield options are located at:<br \/>\nMy Agile Privacy<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> &gt; Privacy Settings &gt; \"Cookie Shield\" tab.<\/p>\n<h2>COOKIE SHIELD SECTION<\/h2>\n<p>In this section, you can manage all Cookie Shield features, including automatic detection and blocking of cookies and third-party software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modes of operation<\/strong><br \/>\nBy default, Cookie Shield is Off when you install My Agile Privacy<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>.<br \/>\nTo configure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select \"Learning Mode\" and save your options.<\/li>\n<li>Browse the frontend of your site: Cookie Shield will detect and block cookies, making them available in the cookie bar automatically.<\/li>\n<li>A notification at the bottom of your screen shows, page by page, which cookies are being detected in real time.<\/li>\n<li>When you're finished, select \"Live\" mode and save\u2014this will activate full Cookie Shield protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\"Increased compatibility\" mode<\/strong><br \/>\nEnable this option if no cookies are detected in \"Learning Mode.\"<br \/>\nIf cookies are still not detected, contact our support team using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myagileprivacy.com\/en\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type of Hook, Scanner Priority \"Start\/End\"<\/strong><br \/>\nThese options appear only if \"increased compatibility\" is enabled.<br \/>\nOnly change these settings if directed by support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advanced Video Privacy<\/strong><br \/>\nAutomatically applies \"advanced privacy\" mode to all YouTube and Vimeo videos on your site, allowing video viewing without installing cookies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strengthen YouTube Privacy<\/strong><br \/>\nFor some YouTube embeds, you may need this option. It activates a stronger cookie-blocking engine for YouTube videos. If unsure, consult support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Block Maps Widgets<\/strong><br \/>\nBlocks Google Maps preemptively. The features being blocked are displayed in the notification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enable the dynamic \"Blocked Content\" notification bar<\/strong><br \/>\nIf enabled, this bar appears on your site, automatically placed on the opposite edge of the cookie bar (top if the cookie bar is bottom, and vice versa).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Show the bar even before choosing any consent<\/strong><br \/>\nIf enabled, the notification bar appears even if the user has not made any cookie choices (e.g., clicked X on the banner).<br \/>\nIf disabled, the bar is shown only after the user accepts or rejects cookies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Automatically close \"Locked Content\" notification bar<\/strong><br \/>\nIf enabled, the bar will disappear after a few seconds.
