This issue is usually related to the use of Google Fonts by the theme. Since these fonts are third-party elements, called from Google's servers, they must be blocked preemptively until the user consents to the related cookie. An alternative solution to blocking, to avoid changing fonts, could be the use of the Embed Google Fonts plugin, which saves a local copy of the Google Fonts, allowing them to be called internally without depending on external servers.
Keep in mind that Google fonts must be included using WordPress's wp_enqueue_style() function for the plugin to work.
Important: This is a third-party plugin, we have no ties to it, and we do not provide specific support for this software. We suggest it because it has proven effective in various situations.
This happens because Google Maps are automatically blocked by My Agile Privacy until the user expresses their consent to the cookies. This is in line with current privacy regulations.
To avoid leaving empty spaces in the site layout, a graphic element of the same size is placed instead of Google Maps, informing the user about why the map is not visible.
This notice invites the user to review their cookie preferences to enjoy complete and functional navigation on the site.
By accepting cookies, the map will load correctly, and the warning message will automatically disappear.
The issue could be due to the use of Google reCaptcha in the form. Google reCaptcha, being third-party software, must be blocked in compliance with privacy regulations until the user accepts the related cookies.
Once cookies are accepted, the form will function normally again.
To improve the user experience, we recommend placing the following code near the form:
<div class="map_custom_notify map_api_key_paypal showConsentAgain" style="display: block;">
Warning: Your cookie choices may not allow the form to be sent. Click here to review your preferences.
</div>
This code displays a notice inviting the user to review their cookie preferences to ensure the correct submission of the form. If the cookie is accepted, the message disappears automatically.
If you have a multilingual site and want to ensure that the policies are displayed in the correct language, the solution is quite simple with My Agile Privacy. In the plugin settings, you will find useful shortcodes to insert on your policy pages.
Just insert the same shortcodes on the translated policy pages. My Agile Privacy will automatically recognize the language of the site and display the corresponding text.
Please remember that My Agile Privacy is compatible with WPML and PolyLang. If you use other plugins, the translations might not display correctly.
It’s a rare occurrence, but if you see completely white pages while navigating your site, don’t worry, there's a simple solution.
To resolve, go to the settings of My Agile Privacy, look for the "Cookie Shield" section, and activate the "enhanced compatibility" option.
This action should immediately resolve the problem, making your site visible again.
If you still notice anomalies or the white page persists after this change, we recommend contacting our support service. We are ready to help ensure that your site functions perfectly and is compliant with the GDPR.
You may notice a slight slowdown of your site after installing My Agile Privacy, but don’t worry, it is a temporary situation.
This happens when the Cookie Shield (the system for automatic scanning and blocking of cookies) is set to "learning" mode. During this phase, while you or your users navigate the site, My Agile Privacy actively searches for third-party cookies and software to block.
To avoid this slowdown, we recommend setting the Cookie Shield to "live" mode as soon as you have finished the scanning phase.
And if you forget to do it? No problem: My Agile Privacy will automatically revert the Cookie Shield to live mode if left in “learning” mode. This is to prevent any prolonged slowdowns on your site.
So, once the learning process is completed and live mode is activated, your site will return to functioning normally, without any slowdown.
If you suspect that some cookies that should be listed are not being detected by My Agile Privacy, it's important to remember that not all features used on your site actually utilize cookies, and it's not necessarily the case that these cookies are third-party.
However, if you want to be sure or if you believe there are cookies that should be included in the list but are not, do not hesitate to contact us.
We will be pleased to perform a check on your site, verifying the presence of the cookies in question and, if necessary, we will update the Cookie Shield to ensure that all relevant cookies are correctly identified and managed.
Our goal is to ensure that your experience with My Agile Privacy is as accurate and satisfying as possible, so your feedback and reports are essential for improving our services.
