Making your WordPress site compliant with the MyAgilePrivacy Consent Management Platform is easy—just follow these steps.
If you don’t have a license yet, choose the plan that fits you here.
If you already have your license key, go to the LICENSE tab, enter your email-delivered license code, and click "Update Settings". The indicator will turn from red to green, and your cookie list will populate automatically.
In the IDENTITY tab, set up your data controller information by filling in the available fields. These will be auto-filled in your personal data policy and cookie policy.
You can customize:
Note: All texts are auto-generated and updated, but you can override them with your own legal or privacy consultant’s content in My Agile Privacy > List Policy.
In the POLICY tab, associate the pre-filled texts with your site’s Personal Data Policy and Cookie Policy pages. Select the appropriate pages and copy the shortcode provided to those pages for the policies to display properly.
In the "COOKIE BANNER" tab, you can personalize the banner’s color, font size, layout, and size, as well as adjust its positioning and preset color themes (light/dark).
Use the live preview tool to check your settings before publish.
Users must be able to change their cookie choices at any time.
Customize or hide the revisit widget from the "CONSENT REVIEW WIDGET" tab. If you choose to hide it, make sure you add an accessible link or button (e.g. in your footer) so users can reopen the consent banner—instructions are available within the tab.
Once setup is complete, you can proceed to cookie detection—see this guide for details.
