Making your WordPress site compliant with MyAgilePrivacy Consent Management Platform is a breeze. Just follow these simple steps.
If you have not yet purchased your license, you can choose the plan that best suits your needs by clicking here.
If you already have your license key, activate your plan from the LICENSE tab.
Enter the license code received via email and click on "Update Settings." The indicator will change from red to green, and the cookie list will be updated with all available cookies.
From the IDENTITY tab you have the option to set up the data on the data controller by filling in the fields you find available.
These fields will be used to auto-fill the personal data policy and cookie policy, which will be generated automatically.
You can customize:
NB: Although the texts are automatically generated and updated, you have the option of customizing them with texts created by your attorney or privacy consultant, should the need arise. You can do this from My Agile Privacy > List Policy by selecting the appropriate document.
In the POLICY tab you can associate the pre-filled texts with the Personal Data Policy and Cookie Policy pages.
You have the option of selecting the appropriate pages from those on your site.
For each of the policies, a shortcode is available for insertion within the relevant page. In this way, the pre-set text will be displayed correctly within the page.
In the "COOKIE BANNER" tab, you have the ability to personalize the visual presentation of the banner to be showcased on the website, along with its constituent elements. Customization possibilities encompass colors, text dimensions, banner positioning and dimensions, and additional features. Additionally, you'll encounter two preconfigured presets (light theme and dark theme) that facilitate color customization.
Leverage the real-time preview function within this tab to review the ultimate outcome prior to deploying it on the site.
The regulations stipulate that users have the right to modify their cookie acceptance preferences at any given time. This is where the revisit widget becomes crucial, and it can be tailored to suit your needs from the "CONSENT REVIEW WIDGET" tab.
Among the customization options, you'll also discover the ability to hide the widget. It's important to note that if you opt not to display the widget, you must establish a link or button that is readily accessible to users within the graphical framework of your website, enabling them to adjust their preferences. Instructions for implementing this can be found directly within the tab, adjacent to the disable option.
Having completed these steps, it is time to detect Cookies. Find out how by reading the appropriate guide.
